Spend controls determine how you can use your Yokoy Platinum Visa card. You can view the overall spend limit to ensure that your card usage remains within your company's desired budget. You may see that your card has been set up to be automatically frozen if you present too many expenses late.
Your card admin may have restricted your card usage by limiting the merchant categories where you can use the card. Merchant categories classify businesses by the type of goods or services made available. For example, your card admin may have determined that you can use your Yokoy Platinum Visa card to purchase fuel only and prohibited any purchases of food and drink (i.e. at restaurants).
In the case of physical cards, your card admin may have determined that you can use your card to withdraw cash at an ATM or not.
To access your spend controls, follow these steps:
If you are using the web app, go to Submitter > Card transactions. If you are using the mobile app, go to the Cards > Card list.
Make sure you have selected the corresponding card for which you want to see the spend controls.
Once your card is displayed on the screen, you will find the card actions located on the right side (web app) or below your card (mobile app).
Click Spend Controls to view your card limit, spending controls, and enabled and disabled merchant categories.
