Freezing your card lets you temporarily pause new transactions from happening on your card, in case you‘ve misplaced your card or don‘t anticipate having any expenses for a while. A card freeze is a convenient way to prevent your card from being used without needing to report it as lost or stolen.
To freeze your card, go to Submitter > Card transactions menu in the web app or to Cards > Card list in the mobile app and ensure you‘ve selected the correct card.
Once you see your card displayed on screen, the card actions you can perform are displayed on the right (web app) or below the card (mobile app).
Click Freeze card to freeze your card from creating new transactions. A confirmation message that you have successfully frozen your card appears. If your card admin allows it, you can unfreeze your card any time to use it for your expenses again by clicking Unfreeze card.
✏️ Note
Card admins can freeze cards in the web app in Corporate cards > Account and admin by selecting the company and bank account, and then clicking to view the card. The card details panel includes the option Freeze card at the bottom.
Card admin can also prevent cardholders from unfreezing cards if required.
