Activating your Yokoy Platinum Visa card

If a Yokoy Platinum Visa card has been pre-ordered for you, follow these steps to activate it and complete the order process.

Before your card admin can complete the order process of your new Yokoy Platinum Visa card and make it available to you, you need to activate the card depending on the type: physical or virtual (including single-use cards).

To activate your Yokoy Platinum Visa card in the web, go to the Submitter > Card Transactions. Select your Yokoy Platinum Visa card from the dropdown list and click Activate card.

To activate your Yokoy Platinum Visa card in the mobile app, go to Cards > Card list and tap the card with the Draft status. Tap Activate card.

Activate your physical card

Selecting Activate card opens a new window where you must agree to the terms and conditions of the Yokoy Platinum Visa card. You are then taken through the following 3DS security configurations:

  • Phone number and SMS verification: Providing your mobile number enables a method to verify online card transactions.

  • Security questions: Providing answers to security questions creates an additional layer of security to your account.

  • PIN: Set a 4-digit PIN code for the card. You can change it later if needed.

✏️ Note
Each card should have its own unique PIN. For security purposes, don‘t use the same PIN in multiple Yokoy cards.

Once you‘ve entered all information, click Activate in the bottom right corner of the window. This completes the ordering process, and you’ll receive your Yokoy Platinum Visa card at your office address within the next ten business days.

Now, you are ready to enjoy the benefits of your Yokoy Platinum Visa card!

🚧 Caution
When you pay with your Yokoy Platinum Visa card for the first time, you‘ll need to insert your card into the card terminal or ATM and enter your PIN to fully activate your card.

Activate your virtual card

If you already have an existing Yokoy Platinum Visa card, you can click Activate card to automatically carry over the configured security settings to your virtual card, meaning your card activation requires just a single click.

✏️ Note

Virtual cards don‘t have any PIN numbers.

If you don‘t have another Yokoy Platinum Visa card, clicking Activate card opens a new window where you must agree to the terms and conditions of the Yokoy Platinum Visa card. You are then taken through the following 3DS security configurations:

  • Phone number and SMS verification: Providing your mobile number enables a method to verify online card transactions.

  • Security questions: Providing answers to security questions creates an additional layer of security to your account.

Once you‘ve entered all information, click Activate in the bottom right corner of the window. This completes the ordering process, and your card is now immediately available for use.

Now, you are ready to enjoy the benefits of your Yokoy Platinum Visa card!

💡 Tip

You can use both physical and virtual cards for contactless payment by adding them to Google Wallet or Apple Pay if available in your country.
