Decimal units for currency
Yokoy now supports the currency’s decimal unit precision as specified by ISO 4217 for invoices. In other words, if the invoice is in set to Japanese Yen or Islandic Krona, all invoice amounts must be whole numbers (i.e. no decimal unit).
Any invoices processed in Yokoy before this release do not take into account the currency’s precision. Therefore, if the invoice does not respect the currency’s decimal precision, you should re-process the invoice (i.e. upload or move back into a status where you can edit it so that currency precision can be adjusted).
Invoice messaging
When processing invoices, you may need to consult colleagues to get them to check details of the invoice (e.g. line item concepts, quantities, agreed prices, etc.). You can now send a message to colleagues directly from the invoice, asking them to check the information. Yokoy sends an email notification with a link to the invoice and your comment. You can also view previous internal comments and follow up as required.
