There are two key areas to monitor for reconciliation: firstly, the completeness of expense reporting in Yokoy, and secondly, the matching between expense report and transaction. Therefore, while the automated reconciliation runs, by regularly checking for informational completeness, you can ensure all vital information is logged.
On the one end of this, it's vital to ensure that all transactions are imported into Yokoy. Therefore, part of the task profile of the Finance user is to monitor the Import log and ensure that all card account transactions are imported into Yokoy. This allows you to keep a full overview that reconciliation is happening as required.

Beyond this, you can check for informational completeness by regularly reviewing the Missing expense and Pending approval/review statuses in the Finance > Card transactions > Transaction menu. This allows you to recognize when expense reports are missing, before they're forgotten by the Submitter.
Only if the Export log displays an error you need to do comprehensive manual reconciliation.
