Yokoy can send email notifications to your assistant to remind them about open tasks such as pending draft expenses, submitted expenses or invoices.
π§ Caution
Your company may or may not have been set up to allow Yokoy to send notifications. The frequency with which the notifications are sent is determined by company and may be daily, weekly or monthly.
As a submitter, you can activate notifications for your assistant in your profile. To do this in the web app, click on your initials in the bottom right corner and select My profile. In the mobile app, click the options menu in the top left corner and then tap My profile.
Scroll down until you see the Assistant & Delegate section, where you can view details of your assistant. Select the Notify assistant about open tasks checkbox and save. Afterwards, your assistant will receive notifications about open tasks via email.
Alternatively, you can ask a user with HR role to enable notifications for you.
Since you can choose whether to send your assistant notifications or not, assistant notifications are sent separately to employee notifications. In other words, your assistant may receive two emails: one with their own open tasks, and another that contains your open tasks.

Assistants do not receive notifications about approvals that the user may need to perform. Only the user or their delegate can perform approvals. See Difference between assistants and delegates.
