To open a bank account with our issuing bank, HBL (available for companies in Switzerland), you need to go through the account opening process, Know Your Business (KYB).

The KYB onboarding process takes on average 12â16 weeks to complete. Bear in mind these timelines when requesting a Yokoy Platinum Visa card account.

Accept your invitation to Yokoy Pay
Once your organization has been identified as required to complete Yokoyâs KYB onboarding process, youâll receive an email invitation to Yokoy Pay.
For the KYB onboarding process, Yokoy selects the primary contact person from the initial sales agreement. If you are the point of contact for your organization and still havenât received the email invitation, please reach out to KYBprocess@yokoy.ai.
Complete the KYB questionnaire
To start the KYB onboarding process, you must need to fill out the KYB questionnaire and summarized client profile.

If you plan to onboard more than one company (legal entity), you must provide the required information for each company separately.
Wait for KYB case review
Once you have submitted the completed KYB questionnaire, Yokoy will check the information provided and forward the form to the KYB case officer at HBL.
HBL may get in contact with you and ask you to provide additional documentation (e.g. commercial register excerpt, annual statements etc.) during the KYB onboarding process. This allows the KYB case officer to approve or reject particular documentation and ultimately decide whether to open an account for your company.
If you have been approved by the bank HBL, youâll receive a notification from your Yokoy point of contact, confirming the successful card account opening.
