Introducing Google Pay for Yokoy Platinum Visa cards

Yokoy has launched Google Pay for Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Yokoy Platinum Visa cardholders in those countries can now add their physical or virtual Yokoy cards to Google Wallet to make fast and safe contactless payments.

The Yokoy card can be added to Google Wallet in 3 steps:

  1. Open the Yokoy app.

  2. Locate the card you want to add.

  3. Click Add to Google Pay button.

New transaction view on mobile for all Yokoy Cards

All Yokoy cardholders can now see all transactions in a single tab, Transactions. Previously, transactions were distributed among three different tabs. Any transactions missing a receipt are highlighted separately in a notification bar at the bottom of the table. This way, cardholders won’t forget about unmatched transactions in case they are further down on the table.

Note: Yokoy Platinum Visa cardholders can also see card declines and authorisations in the Transaction tab.

Improve auto-matching of transactions with expenses by adjusting date tolerances

Sometimes, transactions and expenses can occur on different dates. For example, digital subscription services often charge the card on the last day of the month and issue the receipt or invoice one day later, resulting in a transaction and an expense date that differ by a day.

To auto-match transactions, finance users can allow the date of the transaction and expense to differ. You should adjust this date difference with care, selecting a date difference of one or two days at most. By default, the date difference is set to zero. When a transaction is cleared or an expense is submitted, the auto-matching deviation settings are applied.

The expense is auto-matched by applying both dimensions (amount and date) and match where the combined deviation is the smallest.

Date Difference

These settings are defined at legal entity level and in the currency of that legal entity.

Go to Admin > Transaction settings to adjust the tolerances. These settings apply to Yokoy Platinum Visa cards, Yokoy Prepaid Mastercards, UBS cards, as well as external card feeds.

To access this page, administrators need to have one of the following roles: Company settings or Transaction settings. The role can be assigned to a user under Admin > Finance/HR roles by selecting it from the list in the Setup field.
