Restrict merchant categories for Yokoy Platinum Visa cards

Have you ever wanted to give your team a card for dining expenses but not for taxis? Now you can create customized cards where you can select specific merchant categories for the Platinum Visa cards to be used at. The following merchant categories can be selected from: Accommodation, Airlines, Public Transport, Taxis, Car Rental, Fuel & Charging Stations, Parking & Tolls, Food & Drink, Groceries & Supplies, Other.

If the cardholder tries to make a payment at a merchant that is not allowed, payment is declined immediately at the terminal.

When ordering a new Platinum Visa card, all categories are selected as a default. You can restricted the categories available to cardholders in the Spend control.

Auto-freeze Yokoy Platinum Visa cards when too many receipts are late

Finance teams no longer need to chase cardholders who do not submit their expense reports on time. With the Auto-freeze function for the Platinum Visa card, Yokoy freezes cardholders’ cards when too many transactions are unmatched.

Restrict ATM withdrawals for physical Yokoy Platinum Visa cards

Many of our customers have requested to restrict Visa cards from withdrawing cash from ATMs. Card admins can now disable ATM withdrawals for newly created Platinum Visa cards or enable and disable ATM withdrawals on current cards.

When ordering new Platinum Visa Cards, as a default, Platinum Visa cards allow ATM cash withdrawals. To disable this when ordering, go to Corporate cards > Account and administration, click Order card, select a physical card and in the Spend controls, unselect the Enable ATM cash withdrawals checkbox.

For already active cards, go to Corporate cards > Account and administration. Select an active physical card and in the card details panel, unselect Enable ATM cash withdrawals.

Manage transaction matching tolerances in new transaction setting page

To improve transaction matching, expense-transaction matching tolerances can be configured by percentage and amount in a new transaction settings page. Go to Admin > Transaction settings to adjust the tolerances. This applies to Yokoy Platinum Visa cards, Yokoy Prepaid Mastercards, UBS cards, as well as external card feeds.

To access this page, Yokoy admins need to have one of the following setups: Company settings or Transaction settings. The role can be assigned to a user under Admin > Finance/HR-roles by selecting it from the list in the Setup section.

Note: This new transaction settings page replaces the settings configurator that was available under Company settings > Enable company cards for this company.
