Yokoy Pay: Card ordering, new filters for card admins, archived cards tab, and manual expense matching – February 2023

Yokoy Platinum Visa card ordering and a new tab for archived cards, improved filters for card admins, plus better manual matching.

Easy physical and virtual Yokoy Platinum Visa card ordering

Ordering new virtual or physical Yokoy Platinum Visa cards is now even easier with the new card ordering flow in the web app. Once your initial Modulr account setup is complete, you’ll no longer need to fill out paper forms or require physical signatures to order new cards.

Instead, card admins can simply order one or more new cards in a few simple steps. Once activated by cardholders, virtual cards can be used immediately, whereas physical cards are sent for production before being delivered.

New tab for archived Yokoy Platinum Visa cards

To maintain a clearer overview of active cards, card admins can now access a new Archived cards tab. Any cards that have been terminated over 30 days previously and with no open transactions are moved here. Card admins can view all archived cards for the company under Archived cards, whereas submitters can only view their own archived cards.

To view a list of archived cards, go to Account and admin, click Actions, and select Archived cards.

Submitters using the mobile app can view their archived cards under Cards > Archived cards.

New Expense Matcher (beta) for combining transactions and expenses manually

Yokoy auto-matches most transactions with expenses, but manual matching is useful too. To help you to match expenses to transactions manually, we‘ve introduced the new Expense matcher and a new transaction detail view.

With the beta Expense Matcher, you can:

  • Combine two or more transactions with one expense

  • Split a transaction to combine it with multiple expenses

  • Get guidance and validation if an expense and transaction can be matched

This beta feature can be enabled for the Finance team alone, or for submitters, too. Go to Admin > Company settings, and in Enable company cards for this company, select Enable Expense Matcher for finance and Enable Expense Matcher for the submitter as appropriate.
