Go to “Finance” / “Finance review” to see all expense reports that need to be reviewed.
You see a list of all expenses that need to be reviewed. Depending on the company settings, this can either be
- all expenses that are fully approved, or
- only expenses that are fully approved and have a warnings
If your company’s finance review strategy is set to “auto-review all” in the company settings, no expenses will end up in the “Finance” / “Finance review” section
When opening an expense in “Finance” / “Finance review”, check whether all information is correct and make adjustments if necessary. As a Finance user, you can change all information except for the amount, currency and date (all related to the total amount). If the amount, currency and/or date needs to be changed, the expense needs to be sent back for revision.
Click on “Save” if you want to save the expense report and come back at a later time to finish reviewing the report.
Click on “Needs revision” if you want to send back the report for clarification. A reason for sending back expense reports is always required. After the report is sent back for revision, the end-user needs to make adjustments in the report and it will go through the entire approval flow again.
If you want to reject the expense report permanently, tick the checkbox “Reject this expense permanently”. Please note that rejected expenses cannot be resubmitted again.
Click on “Review” after you have reviewed the expense report. The report is now ready to be exported and can be found in “Finance” / “Expense export” for privately paid expenses and in “Finance” / “Credit card transactions” for credit card expenses.
