You can access invoice PDFs directly via URL.
The URL format for the invoice preview is: https://app.yokoy.ai/invoice-pdf-preview?invoiceId={invoiceId}, where {invoiceId} represents the ID of the invoice to be viewed. For example: https://app.yokoy.ai/invoice-pdf-preview?invoiceId=3UqzXPyHzD
When you click the link, you are redirected to Yokoy to log in. Once authenticated, you can view the invoice PDF. You can use this URL to access the invoice PDF directly from external systems.
❗️ Warning
The person who opens the link must have a Yokoy account with suitable permissions for the company.
From February 2026, only users with the role listed in the table can view PDFs using a direct URL link.
Invoice PDFs can only be viewed by:

Submitter | - View the specific invoice PDF if they are listed as the submitter. |
Tagged users (mentioned in an invoice message) | - View the specific invoice PDF. |
Users granted access in Viewing Invoice PDF via link | - View all invoice PDFs for the companies to which they have been granted access via this option. |
Manager | - View the invoice PDF if they are or have been part of the invoice approval workflow. |
Invoice processor | - View all invoice PDFs for the companies they have access to as invoice processors. |
Finance reviewer | - View all invoice PDFs for the companies they have access to as finance reviewers. |
Auditors | - View all invoice PDFs for the companies they have access to as auditors. |
Admin | - View all invoice PDFs for the company they have access to as an admin. |
HR user | - Can’t view any invoice PDFs. |
Granting invoice PDF viewing permissions
You can grant specific permissions to users to access all invoice PDFs for a company in Admin > Invoice settings.
In Viewing Invoice PDFs via link, you can select company users (or an organization users, if the Allow cross-company assistance flag is enabled) who should have access to the links at all times.
For example, you can store the invoice PDF URL in the corresponding ERP/accounting record created for that invoice, rather than attaching the invoice itself. Users who need to open invoices from the ERP should be granted this permission.
