Activating a workflow

Before you can use a workflow in your company, you need to activate it.

Depending on the workflow type, the steps for activating it for a specific legal entity vary:

✏️ Note
You can only activate published workflows. Draft workflows do not appear in the list of available workflows for activation.

🚧 Caution
Workflows are company-specific. If you want to use a workflow for all legal entities in your organization, you need to activate it for each legal entity separately.

Once a workflow has been activated, it appears in the Active workflows tab. You can only view active workflows for the company you have been assigned to.

For example, if your organization has 3 companies: Company A, B, and C and you have been assigned to Company A and Company B, you can only see active workflows in company A and company B. You cannot view the active workflows for Company C.
In the Active workflows tab, you can view the company name, the workflow type, and the workflow ID.

πŸ’‘ Tip
To view the active workflow in the Workflow Designer, make a note of the workflow ID and search for it in the All workflows tab. The All workflows tab shows all workflows that have been created for the organization, regardless of where they are activated.
